Samuel Newman is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from South Devon making heartfelt, guitar-led music. Somewhere between indie folk and bedroom pop, his songs pair raw and organic production with ear-worm melodies, influenced by the likes of Ben Howard, Ed Sheeran, and Adrianne Lenker. Samuel began performing early, busking in Exeter and playing local festivals across Devon from the age of ten. Over time, he has developed his skills as a songwriter and producer, recording and releasing original music that is shaped by the people and landscapes he grew up with. In late 2024, his song The Island was named Track of the Week by BBC Introducing in the South West. His latest single, All I Need, was released on 20th June 2025.
